The Happy Camper mural was a project that expanded my confidence as a muralist and deepened my understanding of how art can transform a space. The interior mural was a collaborative effort with the brand designer for Happy Camper, and I painted both the interior and exterior murals for the new location. I focused on playful energy and a visual tone that reflects the brand’s welcoming and approachable personality. The goal was to create a moment that draws people in and makes the space feel joyful, memorable, and connected to the community.

This project challenged me in the best way. I spent a lot of time perfecting the interior mural, and then I ran short on time for the exterior and had to complete all three exterior murals in one night. It required technical precision and a strong sense of spatial storytelling. I learned how to balance composition at a large scale while staying true to the spirit of the brand. It helped me grow as an artist and reaffirmed my love for creating work that lives out in the world. I am proud of how this mural came together and of the impact it has on the space it now belongs to.
