Valentinos game shop was a fun project where I was tasked with developing the logo and supporting marks for the brand. I will be honest. Sometimes logo design makes me feel insufficient, because it can feel like I spend most of the process choosing a font that matches the tone. I am learning that this is simply part of the art of design, and that the discomfort usually reflects something deeper in me rather than a lack of ability.
Through the process, I experimented with different type treatments, shapes, and visual cues that could represent the spirit of a neighborhood game shop. The final logo combines playful energy with a clean structure, creating something that feels approachable and nostalgic without losing clarity. It captures the personality of the brand while staying simple enough to adapt across signage, packaging, and social content.
The project taught me a lot about what clients expect and how important it is to be clear and direct about what your services include. Even with the internal challenges, it pushed me to grow and helped me better understand both the creative outcome and the client relationship side of design.
